Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 November 2026

This policy explains what information ProofNow collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information: your email address, used to sign you in.

Content you add: project titles, before and after descriptions, results, client names and quoted feedback.

From clients who open a page: the name they type when approving or commenting, and their comments.

Billing information: your subscription status and Dodo Payments customer ID. We never see or store your card details. Dodo Payments handles them.

Technical information: basic logs our hosting provider keeps, such as IP address and browser type, used for security and fixing problems.

How we use it

To run the service: signing you in, showing your pages, recording approvals and comments, and managing your plan. To keep it secure and prevent abuse. To contact you about your account, billing or important changes. We don’t sell your information and don’t use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (hosting) and Dodo Payments (payments, taxes and billing). They process data only to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Project pages are visible to anyone with the link. Search engines are told not to index them.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is active. Deleting a page removes it and its comments. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as billing records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@proofnow.app. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local data protection law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to the database is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

ProofNow isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we’ll let you know by email or in the app.
